Finally, Google has paid much-needed attention to the Google Groups mobile and is bringing some refreshing and modern change to its interface.
Now, users did not like the way Google treated Google Groups interface on mobile. It looked unadorned. Thankfully, a new refreshment is on its way and it might have well reflected for you too.
The mobile interface now looks refreshing and has all the latest material designs that we can ask for. Moreover, this brings the Google Groups in the mobile browser at par with other apps that have received such aesthetic changes.
Notably, all the other modules of Google adopted the new material design, sadly Groups was left behind. But that changes now because the new interface brings clean and modern UI elements.
The Google Groups menu includes the loved "hamburger" menu and Google Sans font
Well, talk about some neat touches to the new interface, the hamburger menu button is here. Besides, the refreshed look also gets the new Google Sans font.
The account switcher has also been made pretty modern. In the official blog, Google also points out that the new design also makes it significanty easier to find your groups, and manage your conversation within a group.
However, keep in mind that you will now have to switch over to the desktop version of the Google Groups to post a reply or post a comment to the group.
This is a bit frustrating as the older version lets you post a comment or reply to the group post, straight from the mobile version of the Google Groups.
On the flip side, reading conversation in a group and managing, searching, or going to a favorite group has now been improved with this new Google Groups interface.

Google will push this new modern interface for the Google Groups for mobile browsers to all its users by the end of this month.
Besides, this new Google Groups modern interface will be available to all the G Suite and personal account holders. For me, this new interface has reflected while opening Google Groups on mobile browsers.
If you also wish to try out the new look, you may as well try, but we are not sure of a 100% guarantee that the new interface will show up for you.
Head over to Google Groups on your mobile browser and switch over to the desktop version of the site. Once you are done with that, tap on the notification that says try out the new look. This will redirect you to the refreshed Groups mobile website.
