Rapper Snoop Dogg, scheduled to appear in a sold-out show at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort on Sept. 26, has canceled that and other current shows, the casino and others said on Wednesday.
The upcoming show itself had been rescheduled after Snoop Dogg canceled an earlier show scheduled in Mt. Pleasant for July 15.
Snoop Dogg canceled the July show due to “unexpected routing conflicts” and the upcoming event due to the pandemic.
No further details concerning Covid were provided.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances due to the pandemic, Snoop Dogg’s performance is unfortunately being rescheduled to a date (to be determined) in 2022,” the casino said.
Also canceled is his appearance at the Louder than Life Music Festival, which is the day before his Mt. Pleasant appearance in Louisville, Ky.
Soaring Eagle said ticket refunds could be obtained at the venue where they were purchased.
