When Samsung announced it would rename the Game Launcher app to Gaming Hub with the release of One UI 6.0, the company also mentioned that it is working on adding more features to the platform. It didn't explain what those features will be, but it looks like the first feature update is here, and it's changing the UI to make it more convenient for gamers to access their mobile games.
The biggest change in this new Gaming Hub version is the revamped game selection area. The bottom bar, where the “Home,” “Instant Plays,” and “More” buttons used to be is now gone and replaced with a toolbar containing the user's mobile games. This toolbar can be expanded to an almost full-screen view.
You might be wondering what happened to Instant Plays. Well, they're still there, except Instant Play games are now peppered throughout the “Start streaming now” and “Recommended for you” sections.
The egg-hatching mini-game is still there
Another change worth noting is that the shortcut to the egg-hatching mini-game has been removed from the app's home screen. Thankfully, the mini-game itself is still available.
With the latest Gaming Hub version, players can now access the egg-hatching mini-game through the gamer profile by tapping their profile pictures at the top and then going to the “Creature collection” section.
