Injured cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Buster Skrine have been ruled out for the Bears’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville.
Johnson will miss his second consecutive game with a shoulder injury. Skrine will miss his third consecutive game with a concussion. Second-year cornerback Duke Shelley, who started for Johnson against the Vikings last week, is questionable with knee and foot injuries but is expected to play. Rookie Kindle Vildor was the fifth cornerback against the Vikings and figures to fill that role against the Jaguars.
Linebacker Khalil Mack (shoulder), defensive end Akiem Hicks (ankle), nose tackle Bilal Nichols (knee), wide receiver Allen Robinson (hamstring) and kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) are listed as questionable but expected to play. Safety Deon Bush (foot), defensive end Mario Edwards, Jr. (hamstring) also are questionable. Tight end Demetrius Harris (foot) is doubtful.
