By now, it seems pretty clear where both sides stand in the Deshaun Watson vs. Houston Texans split.

So, who blinks first? Will Watson eventually cave and report to the Texans after he starts getting fined for missing training camp, or will the Texans decide their best option is to trade him before the April 29 draft and start the rebuilding process?
Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey - who is friends with Watson and shares an agent, David Mulugheta, with the disgruntled quarterback - says his buddy is serious about sticking to his guns and refusing to play in Houston again.
"Extremely serious, he's extremely serious," Ramsey said on NFL Network's Jim Trotter and Steve Wyche's Huddle & Flow podcast, released Thursday. "At the end of the day. Deshaun is a great man. A servant leader. Even now when people are trying to crucify him and talk bad on his name, he's still out there doing things for the community in Houston. So, he's a great man. He's a professional. He's going to still do things that are positive in the community and probably still help his teammates out. But I highly doubt he'll ever suit up in a Texans uniform again. He's very serious. I will say he's very serious. This is his legacy here, I mean, he should be serious."
Ramsey knows a thing or two about forcing a trade. In his fourth season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the cornerback got into a shouting match with coach Doug Marrone on the sidelines during a game. The next day, Ramsey demanded a trade. A few weeks later, the Jaguars shipped Ramsey to the Rams for two first-round picks and a fourth-rounder.
"Players are learning," Ramsey said of how his situation compares to what Watson is doing in Houston. "They're understanding how powerful we really are."
