CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Hopkins International Airport will start charging for parking again starting Monday.
The airport suspended parking fees in late March, in both an effort to protect employees and because of the dramatic drop in air travel due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Parking fees are a a major source of airport revenue. In 2018, the airport collected $38 million from parking and ground transportation fees.
Anyone parking at the airport before June 1 will not have to pay. Travelers using the lots June 1 and after will be charged regular rates, $15-$20 per day, depending on the location. Payment must be by credit card only.
The airport’s Brown lot will remain closed.
