The cloud and cool weather pattern that we saw yesterday will continue today and tomorrow. This is due to a slow moving low pressure system just to our east. We 'll have the chance of some drizzle and/or a couple of showers this afternoon. However, only about 20% of the viewing area would see that rain. Temperatures this morning are starting off in the mid 50s again. The cloud cover and winds out of the north will keep our daytime highs below average again, in the low to mid 60s. Tonight will be cloud as well, with lows in the upper 50s. The slow moving low pressure will continue to impact our weather into Thursday, giving us mostly cloudy skies. However, it will be a little warmer with highs in the low 70s as our winds start to come out of the south. We could see a few peaks of sunshine later Thursday afternoon. The warming trend will continue into Friday and the weekend. So by Saturday, highs will be above average in the 80s. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will also increase into Friday and the weekend as a warm front lifts northward through the Tri-States Friday night into Saturday. The best chance of rain will happen Sunday through Monday (Memorial Day) though. Highs on Memorial Day will be in the low 80s.
